Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 25, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ghar Raksha Services website and your request for services through our website, phone, WhatsApp or other communication channels.

In these Terms, “Ghar Raksha”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Ghar Raksha Services. “Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to the person requesting or receiving a service.

By requesting a service or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not request our services.

2. Services

Ghar Raksha Services provides home-service assistance, which may include kitchen chimney cleaning, deep cleaning, chimney repair, installation or removal and other home services advertised on our website.

The exact service available depends on the customer’s location, appliance condition, technician availability, required tools or parts, and the nature of the requested work.

We operate as an independent service provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we are not an authorized service centre, manufacturer or brand-owned repair facility.

3. Booking and Appointment

  • A booking request does not automatically guarantee an appointment until it is accepted or confirmed by Ghar Raksha Services.
  • Customers should provide accurate name, phone number, address, location and service details.
  • We may contact the customer to confirm the booking, service requirement, location and availability.
  • Appointment times are estimates and may change because of traffic, technician availability, previous jobs, weather or other circumstances.
  • The customer should provide reasonable access to the appliance or service location at the agreed time.

4. Inspection and Service Charges

Certain repair services may involve an inspection or visiting charge. Where applicable, the applicable visiting or inspection charge will be communicated before or during booking.

A repair quotation may depend on the actual condition of the appliance and the parts or labour required. A price displayed on a webpage, advertisement or booking form may not represent the final repair cost unless specifically stated as a fixed price.

Important: Cleaning and repair are different services. If an appliance requires repair after inspection, additional repair charges or parts costs may apply after the customer is informed.

5. Parts and Replacement Components

Where a repair requires a replacement part, the availability, compatibility, brand, model and price of the part may affect the final service cost and completion time.

  • Replacement parts may be original, compatible or equivalent parts depending on availability and the agreed service.
  • Part costs will be communicated where reasonably possible before replacement.
  • Special-order or unavailable parts may require additional time.
  • Repair cannot be guaranteed where required parts are discontinued, unavailable or technically unsuitable.

6. Cleaning Services

Cleaning results can vary depending on grease accumulation, appliance design, age, maintenance history, accessibility and the condition of filters, motors, ducts and other components.

Cleaning is intended to improve cleanliness and, where appropriate, help maintain normal appliance operation. Cleaning cannot guarantee restoration of performance where the underlying issue is caused by a defective motor, PCB, switch, wiring, duct, installation or other mechanical/electrical component.

7. Electrical and Appliance Safety

Technicians may stop or decline work if they reasonably determine that the appliance, electrical connection, wiring, installation, access conditions or surrounding area presents an unsafe working condition.

Customers should disclose known faults, previous repair work, electrical issues, water leakage or other conditions that may affect safe servicing.

8. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate booking and contact information.
  • Providing access to the appliance and relevant work area.
  • Removing valuable, fragile or unrelated personal items from the work area where necessary.
  • Informing the technician about known appliance faults, previous repairs or relevant safety concerns.
  • Ensuring that a responsible person is available where access or approval is required.
  • Reviewing the service and charges before making payment.

9. Payments

Payment is due according to the amount agreed for the completed service, inspection, parts or other applicable charges.

Where the website or booking process states “Pay After Service”, this means payment is expected after the applicable service has been completed, subject to the agreed quotation and any applicable additional charges.

Available payment methods may include cash, UPI or other payment methods communicated by Ghar Raksha Services.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers should contact Ghar Raksha Services as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Appointments may be rescheduled subject to technician availability.
  • Repeated cancellations, no-access situations or failure to respond may affect future booking availability.
  • If a technician has already travelled to the location, an applicable visiting or inspection charge may apply where communicated or otherwise applicable.

11. Warranty

Any warranty offered for a particular repair, part or service will be communicated to the customer at the time of service and may vary by service and component.

Unless a specific warranty is expressly provided, no additional warranty should be assumed merely because a repair or service was performed.

Warranty coverage, where provided, may exclude issues caused by misuse, physical damage, electrical fluctuations, water damage, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, external components, subsequent modifications or unrelated faults.

12. Service Limitations

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the requested service. However, service may be limited or declined when:

  • The appliance is unsafe to work on.
  • Required parts or tools are unavailable.
  • The appliance is excessively damaged, inaccessible or beyond practical repair.
  • The requested work requires a specialist service outside the scope of our available service.
  • Access to the property or appliance is not available.
  • Conditions outside our reasonable control prevent completion.

13. Damage and Pre-Existing Conditions

Customers should disclose visible damage, cracks, loose fittings, previous repairs, electrical modifications and other known pre-existing conditions before service.

We are not responsible for problems that were already present before the service or for failures caused by concealed defects, ageing components, improper installation, misuse, electrical issues or conditions outside the reasonable scope of the service performed.

14. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and useful. However, service descriptions, availability, pricing, service areas, images and other information may change without prior notice.

Images shown on the website may be illustrative and may not exactly represent every technician, appliance, tool, part or completed service.

15. Customer Reviews and Feedback

Customers may voluntarily provide reviews, ratings or feedback about our services. Feedback should be truthful and should not contain unlawful, abusive, threatening, misleading or confidential information belonging to another person.

Where permitted by applicable law and platform rules, Ghar Raksha Services may use genuine customer feedback for service improvement and business communication.

16. Privacy

Personal information submitted through our website or booking process is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links or integrations with third-party services such as Google, maps, payment providers, communication platforms, analytics services or other websites.

Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. Ghar Raksha Services is not responsible for the content, availability or policies of third-party services that we do not control.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ghar Raksha Services will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside the reasonable scope of the service provided.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.

19. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We may be unable to provide or complete a service because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic restrictions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, emergencies, technical failures, supply shortages or other unforeseen events.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, operations, technology or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute arising in connection with the services or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts applicable to Ghar Raksha Services, subject to applicable law.
